Chairs

​When a local primary school came and asked for my help to renew their staffroom, I couldn't wait to get started working with them. Taking 12 incredibly tired chairs that had taken a battering for 25 years, I spent their summer holiday transforming the chairs to match the new staffroom colour palette. A lovely surprise was in store for the staff when the start of a new term came!
I recovered this chair to suit the new decor of a home office to ensure that the working from home environment was both comfortable and looked great.

This was an example of where a chair could have easily been replaced with a new one but the owner just couldn't face throwing it away... hopefully now it has many more years of life in the home office!

I recently recovered a set of 6 antique chairs, which was really rewarding. It was a pleasure to breathe a new lease of life into these family favourites. When renewing furniture like this, I not only pay particular attention to making them look better than ever but choose and replace the materials inside to ensure they are comfier than ever to sit on.

Although not particularly old, daily use had completely ruined the covering on these contemporary chairs. Once the customer and I had decided on the design and fabrics, I stripped the old covering, refilled and recovered these kitchen chairs. adding piping to finish the look.

Footstalls
My renewal of a well worn and tired looking foot cube at the end of its life. The customer chose this printed velvet to enhance their living room. I treated it to some new stuffing and added some piping after re-upholstering to enhance the look and quality.

Built from scratch - I made the frame and upholstered this foot stall in a recent class. I can create these in any size and style, covered in a fabric to suit your taste and home decor.

Cushions
Recovering these cushions was one of my first professional commissions. This set of 10 cushions were created after a visit with a customer to a local fabric shop to choose the perfect design. My attention to detail ensured that the zips were nicely covered by piping and, of course, matching in colour.

Headboards
Using beautiful buttons that I can custom make using your own material, I can create custom headboards to suit your bed size, room size and, obviously, colour and style, not just beautiful but practical and comfortable too.
